I'm an intermediate Python programmer, having produced large bodies of Python code for my day job, but haven't done anything particularly advanced. I had a lot of help and mentoring from a friend for the architecture of some of the projects I've worked on, and with his help learned how to use basic object oriented design to good advantage.

Before getting into Python, I used various scripting languages and GUI builders, such as HyperCard, Runtime Revolution, FileMaker, as well as some web development using PHP.

My Python interests include wxPython, PythonCard, and several web frameworks such as Twisted Web, Django, Nevow, and Zope 3.

I prefer doing most of my work on Mac OS X, use Windows when I have to, and but have been gradually shifting toward Ubuntu Linux.

I'm a regular attendee of the DFW Python user's group.
