I have used C and C++ for 20 years with lots of mainframe programming before that. I started out in 360 assembler and PL/I, so python is pretty much a breeze. I'm using Python for system administration tasks and some internal web sites right now. Our company is moving all our production systems to Zope 3, so I will also be learning Zope. I've been to a few meetings, mostly as a listener until I have something to say.
